Appleton Village School – Special Education Ed Tech I – Three Days a Week

Appleton Village School is currently seeking a Special Education Ed Tech I, 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The ideal candidate will be experienced, have a positive attitude and is, or willing to be, Safety Care trained.

 Speech & Language Pathologist

Lincolnville Central School is currently seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist. This is a contracted, part-time position and will serve grades K-8.

Qualifications:

  • Maine Speech Pathologist Certification and Licensure
  • Maine Criminal History Background Check
  • Experience in an educational setting preferred.

    Reports to: Special Education Director

    Candidate will:

  • Identify students in need of speech/language therapy services K-8; including screening incoming kindergarten students, newly transferred students, new referrals.
  • Provide speech/language services to identified students. Including direct speech/language therapy and consultation.
  • Be familiar with and be able to complete required State Special Education paperwork associated with evaluation reports, IEPs and progress reports.
  • Attend IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to assist in making modifications and accommodations in their classroom and in developing language activities.

Applicants for this position must have the appropriate education, a strong background of functional language, experience and licensure.

Special Education Ed Tech III - Lincolnville Central School

Lincolnville Central School is seeking a full-time Special Education Ed Tech III to join their school community. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude and offer flexibility.  The candidate must be either Safety Care trained, or willing to be Safety Care trained, and willing to work with students with behavioral challenges. 

The Lincolnville Central School is a Pre-K-8 school of approximately 225 students located in Mid-Coast Maine.

Substitute Teachers for the Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville Schools

Pay scale for substitute teachers is as follows:

Subs with a four year degree (or 90 hours of college towards a Bachelor's degree):  $150/day at Lincolnville, $175/day at Hope and Appleton 

Subs without a four year degree:  $125/day at Lincolnville, $150/day at Hope and Appleton
