Full-Time Evening Custodian – Appleton Village School

Appleton Village School is now hiring a year-round full-time custodian or two part-time people.

The normal work schedule for this position is 2 pm to 10 pm. If it is two part-time positions the hours would be approximately 2 pm to 6 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm. Successful candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule and be willing to adapt to different assignments day to day.

Qualifications:  Ability to lift 45 lbs., Current Criminal History Background Check (may be completed at the time of hire), excellent communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Cleaning of public buildings experience including floor striping & waxing and light maintenance are required. Positive attitude, must like children and be flexible.

Position Description:  Cleans the school using CDC guidelines.

Salary:   Based on experience

Special Education Ed Tech III - Lincolnville Central School
Lincolnville Central School is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Ed Tech III to work with elementary aged children.

The Lincolnville Central School is a K-8 school of approximately 225 students located in Mid-Coast Maine.

School Psychological Examiner – Contracted Position

School Union 69 is seeking a School Psychological Examiner. This position is a contracted position in our three K-8 (Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville) schools. This position is part-time with the possibility of sharing the position with other local districts.

The successful contractor will work as a collaborative team member to conduct evaluations, observations and assessments as needed, as well as consulting and collaborating with the Special Education Director and each school’s educational staff at the K-8 level. Knowledge of mental health and behavioral needs is preferred.

The contractor must be licensed as a School Psychological Examiner and hold an 093 School Psychologist certification.

Substitute Teachers for the Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville Schools

Pay scale for substitute teachers is as follows:

Subs with a four year degree (in anything):  $125/day

$135/day if more than 10 continuous days retroactive to day 1 (although we usually hire a sub with a teaching degree who then gets their per diem as a teacher pay)

Subs without a four year degree:  $100/day

$110 if more than 10 continuous days retroactive to day 1 (see above)
