Art Teacher - Appleton Village School for the 2020 -2021 School year

The Appleton Village is seeking an Art teacher three days a week, preferably Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, for the 2020-2021 school year. This position could be combined with a 40% Ed Tech III position to achieve full time.

Appleton Village School is a small, rural K-8 school. We are seeking a team player with excellent communication and collaborative skills to join our team. The Art teacher will be responsible for K-8 instruction as well as the collaboration with the Farnsworth Art Museum program for grades four and seven.

Other responsibilities include working with the gifted and talented teacher and special educators to provide adaptive opportunities for students.

Substitute Teachers for the Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville Schools

Pay scale for substitute teachers is as follows:

Subs with 4 year degrees (in anything):$100/day

$110/day if more than 10 continuous days retroactive to day 1 (although we usually hire a sub with a teaching degree who then gets their per diem as a teacher pay)

Subs without degrees:$85/day

$95 if more than 10 continuous days retroactive to day 1 (see above however)
